Storm Idol (雷を抱く邪神, らいをほうくじゃしん, rai ohouku jashin) is the guardian of The Thunder Mine and a boss in Legaia 2: Duel Saga.

Storm Idol is fought in the very center of the Thunder Mine as Lang and his crew enter the area in search of a ThunderWind Stone.

Strategy

Ozmarakia hits all targets.

Storm Idol hits for high damage with its attacks. Trogluzer can do over 1,200 damage to a single target, and Temperius can approach that amount with 1,000 damage to a single target. It will use a physical combo of Branterios + Xeriahalt + Branterios, or Branterior + Branterios + Xeriahalt, which can do 1,000 - 1,200 damage on a target as well. Storm Idol is also prepared with a multi-target attack that hits everyone for 900+ damage. Additionally, it can restore all its AP with Gardihon.

Thankfully this boss has relatively low HP, so pulling out a Mystic Art or a Variable Art in a round could end this fight in a turn or two. Sharon will likely be the only one faster than Storm Idol, so she should be used in the party as a designated healer and throw a Silver Baromes after Ozmarakia or a Heal Bottle after any of Storm Idol's hard-hitting single target attacks.
